About Me

My name is Cameron Garcia, and I'm a 6-foot-5 collegiate center back and private soccer coach currently based in Miami, Florida. I've played soccer at several competitive levels, including Lovejoy High School, Dallas Texans ECNL, Ouachita Baptist University, NCAA Division I at Mercyhurst University, and now Barry University.

Throughout my career, I've developed a strong understanding of defending, positioning, communication, aerial duels, one-on-one situations, and how to organize a back line. Playing at the collegiate level has taught me that talent is only part of becoming a successful player. Confidence, discipline, decision-making, and understanding the game are just as important.

I created Next Touch Soccer to share what I've learned and help young players become more confident and complete. I specialize in working with defenders and center backs, but I also help players improve their technical ability, soccer IQ, positioning, and decision-making through private training, game-film analysis, and personalized development plans.

My coaching approach is centered around growth and confidence. Every player is different, so I believe training should be personalized to their position, goals, strengths, and areas for improvement. My goal is to provide clear feedback, practical drills, and consistent guidance that players can apply directly to their game.

I want every athlete I work with to understand not only what they need to improve, but why it matters. At Next Touch Soccer, every session, decision, and touch is another opportunity to grow.
