Waiver & Parental Consent

Last updated: August 3, 2026

Template — not legal advice. This page is starter language for a youth sports coaching business. Have a licensed attorney in your state review it — especially the liability waiver — before relying on it, since requirements for coaching minors vary by state.

Assumption of risk

Soccer training carries an inherent risk of injury. By creating an account and participating in coaching, the player (and, for players under 18, their parent or legal guardian) acknowledges this risk and agrees that the coach is not liable for injuries that occur during independent training completed outside of a live-supervised session.

Parent or guardian consent

For any player under 18, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept this waiver, the Terms & Conditions, and the Privacy Policy during account creation before the player can book sessions, submit film, or purchase a package.

Media & film submission

Parent/guardian and player consent to submitting game film and training video for the purpose of coaching review. Submitted video is kept private (see Privacy Policy) and is not published publicly without separate, explicit permission.

Communication with minors

Where the player is under 18, coaching communication may include a parent or guardian, and a parent or guardian may request to be copied on all messages, feedback, and scheduling.

Acknowledgment

Checking “I agree” during signup confirms that the player (and parent/guardian, if the player is under 18) has read and agrees to this Waiver & Consent, the Terms & Conditions, and the Privacy Policy.
